Brenda is a paralegal in the Trusts and Estates Group and the firm's Elder Law Outreach Coordinator. She specializes in elder law, Medicaid planning, serves as a liaison in the elder community and is an advocate for our clients with elder service providers.
Brenda received her Certificate in Paralegal Studies from Middlesex Community College and her AS with high honors from Bentley College. She earned her BA with a Marketing Concentration from Southern New Hampshire University, receiving their Outstanding Graduate award.
Prior to joining Mirick O’Connell, Brenda was a paralegal for the Law Offices of Arthur P. Bergeron. She has served on various boards and worked with local community action groups on numerous advocacy projects, including the Marlborough Council on Aging, BayPath Elder Services (a Massachusetts Aging Services Access Point), the Alzheimer’s Association’s MetroWest Alzheimer's Partnership and the Elder Community Collaborative. Brenda also served on the advisory committee for the COME 2 B Dementia Friendly initiative funded through a grant from the MetroWest Health Foundation.
